YEAH ssi music club's band competition--
BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2007 is waiting foryou!!

here are some information for those who are interested in taking part in band competition:

1)Date of competition:9 June 2007(it's school holiday!!!)

2)Venue:Hotel Tropical Inn

3)Registration Fees:RM100 per band

4)Entrance fees:RM15 each (including tea-breaks!)

5)Age Range:21 years old and below

6)No. of contestants per band:Minimum 3 contestants

7)No. of songs:2 songs(English,Malay or Chinese)

8)Singing duration:10-12 minutes

9)Songs' ferule:no violence,religion,terrorism and sensitive issues are allowed.

10)Self-composed songs are allowed.

11)Drum set,amplifier,and keyboard are provided,exceptional musical instrument are not prepared by organizer.

12)No drugs,alcohol,and violence are allowed.

13)The organizer will not take responsibilities for any accidents or mishaps befall on any contestants.

14)PRIZES:

CHAMPION :RM1000
1st Runner-up:RM500
2nd Runner-up:RM300

15)Deadline--25th of May 2006

Thanks to all SSI Music Club's commitees--our band competition and birthday party was a success!
July can be regarded as the busiest month for music club,because our two greatest activities-Battle of the Bands and Music Club's birthday party are held..a big thank you i must say to all those people who contributed in these activities..TERIMA KASIH!

cHoIR RawKSSSS~~CONGRATULATIONS!!

A BIG CONGRATS TO SSI CHOIR! WE GOT THE FIRST RUNNER-UP IN THE DISTRICT LEVEL CHOIR COMPETITION!!NO MATTER WHAT THE OUTCOME IS,IN THE "NEI4 XIN1 SHEN1 CHU4"(i dunno what is it in english...i think is "inner heart")OF EVERY SSI CHOIR MEMBERS,WE ARE THE CHAMPION IN OUR HEART:)
we did our very best already,,so to us,the most important thing is not the result,is the days and moments we've been together..WELL DONE!

This shall be the first blog entry of SSIMC in the year of 2006!wakakaka...we'll bring more updates about Music Club this year!woohoo=) haha kinda "high" because long time never update already(paiseh oh...) BUT we promise you that we will bring more new and fresh updates of Music Club~~

1st thing--Initially our club's koko was on Monday,but now teachers have approved us to have koko activities on Tuesday because this is more convenient for most members..specially thanks to our secretary~~Sylvia for typing da surat kebenaran:)

WE GOT 3RD PLACE!!! although we did not came in at 1st place...
but truly....in our hearts.... WE R THE CHAMPS! we hav beaten ourselves..
