Hellooo. This is Chloe (Art Management, 2008/2009), typing from... uh. Her house. XD Anyway, in an effort to breathe some life back into this
totally awesome blog, here's a quick update on a few activities that have passed in the past couple of months.
First I'll start off with a brief recap on our 7th Birthday Party, held on 27/09/2008.... The theme was 'Heaven and Hell' and we planned the performances and site decoration accordingly. All the AJKs worked very hard (I will never forget my experience with Liping, digging through piles of sticky and smelly trash for tin cans behind the shops in hutan bandar. ;)) ,though in my honest opinion there is a lot more that us AJKs can improve on. This year we'll definitely make more improvements for our
lucky 8th Birthday Party. =)
Next was our annual retreat which was during the school holidays. The venue was Eak Kuan
and Xin Sian's home, Datin Halimah Condominiums. The AJKs made full use of the facilities there to plan some games and all in all, everyone there had a fun and unforgettable time.
(add-on by our brilliant Creative Director, Chan Eak Kuan: all ajks had a great time in this beautiful heaven generously donated by our creative director eak kuan.) Indeed, thank you very much for the ''beautiful heaven'' suggested to us. ;)
2008 came to an end with the Retreat as our last activity and we then ushered in the new year with the first activity of 2009 - Orientation. The Orientation started off with quick introductions made by our new members. Soon after we wasted no time in beginning the fun 'treasure hunt' game. The game received very high praise from all participants as it was not only fun but also challenging. After everyone was tired out from all the fun, we then had a few performances in the Dewan Tertutup, which impressed many of our members. Overall the 2009 Orientation was a success as we definitely managed to leave a good and lasting impression in all our members' minds, be it new or old members.

Our next activity which will be sometime in April is our Lawatan. Thus far most of the plans have been made and I can assure everyone that it will be an eye-opening experience to all those who participate.
