Battle of the Bands 2010 RULES AND REGULATIONS

Rules and Regulations


*Please read the instructions below to qualify for the requirements of the competition.


Ø Ticket Fee : RM8 (audience / supporters)

Ø Number of contestants per team : min 2 pax, max 8 pax.

Ø Age range : 22 years old and below (students only)

Ø Duration of performance : 3 -10 minutes

Ø Song’s Ferules : NO SEXUAL REFERENCES + RELIGIOUS ISSUES + REFERENCES TO TERRORISM + SENSITIVE ISSUES.
Non-English songs are not allowed. HOWEVER, remixes containing different languages are allowed, on the condition that the remix is 60% English. 

Ø NO VIOLENCE, NO DRUGS and NO ALCOHOL.

Ø English will be the main language used during the event.

Ø Action will be taken on disciplinary offences.

Ø Decision of the panel is FINAL!

Ø The organiser will not bear responsibility for any accidents or mishaps which befall on any contestant.

Ø Deadline : 30 May 2010

Ø Contestants are encouraged to bring their supporters. 15% of the overall marks will be based on the supporters.

ATTENTION:

Due to a scheduling conflict on our part (and the fact that some calendars are very strange), we have come to notice that our original date for BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2010, which was Friday, 4th June 2010, is still a schooling day. Thus the date has been postponed to ONE WEEK LATER, on Friday, 11th June 2010.
