Hi everyone^^
2010 is around the corner...
So,let's have some new plans for our Music Club------------
As usual,
The most important thing that I would like to emphasise is: Teamwork and Self control.
Just as an example, Ladanza is one of the mistake that I, and all of us have done.
It was crystal clear that we haven't show our teamwork very well.
And,it's really a quite difficult mission to complete a big show,ya know?
If we do all the part, all the mission, all the responsibility together,
without caring very much that whose duty is it and who is the one should be responsible for this and that but just work through all the difficulties together,
I believe that we can make our music club to become a club which is very successful in SSI.
Beside that, we should pay more attention on Choir.
As we all know, choir had became more and more Dull.
The wonderful and colourful choir which full of hapiness is waiting for us.
So, let's kambatech together and work hard for next year activities------orientation,dedication,choir competition,choir camp,trip,Battle of the Band(if possible),Hari Koko,Hari PIBG,Birthday Party,retreat......and many many more if we work together=)

SSI Music Club Choir for 2010

Hey everyone, SSI Choir going to organise some practices

for competition of 2010.

This year, I hope we can achieve better result than previous year.

SSI choir should grab every chances to perform

No matter in what activities.

Our target this year

• Achieve 1st place in the daerah competition     
• Get a professional choir teacher   
• Full attendance for every practice and gathering           
• Able to organize a Choir Camp
  
• Compose a new song tittle  Disney Medley for competition on 2010 state competition

Hope this year, we can get more new members

And improve our singing technique.

Quick, much needed update. =)

Hellooo. This is Chloe (Art Management, 2008/2009), typing from... uh. Her house. XD Anyway, in an effort to breathe some life back into this totally awesome blog, here's a quick update on a few activities that have passed in the past couple of months.

First I'll start off with a brief recap on our 7th Birthday Party, held on 27/09/2008.... The theme was 'Heaven and Hell' and we planned the performances and site decoration accordingly. All the AJKs worked very hard (I will never forget my experience with Liping, digging through piles of sticky and smelly trash for tin cans behind the shops in hutan bandar. ;)) ,though in my honest opinion there is a lot more that us AJKs can improve on. This year we'll definitely make more improvements for our lucky 8th Birthday Party. =)

Next was our annual retreat which was during the school holidays. The venue was Eak Kuan and Xin Sian's home, Datin Halimah Condominiums. The AJKs made full use of the facilities there to plan some games and all in all, everyone there had a fun and unforgettable time.

(add-on by our brilliant Creative Director, Chan Eak Kuan: all ajks had a great time in this beautiful heaven generously donated by our creative director eak kuan.) Indeed, thank you very much for the ''beautiful heaven'' suggested to us. ;)

2008 came to an end with the Retreat as our last activity and we then ushered in the new year with the first activity of 2009 - Orientation. The Orientation started off with quick introductions made by our new members. Soon after we wasted no time in beginning the fun 'treasure hunt' game. The game received very high praise from all participants as it was not only fun but also challenging. After everyone was tired out from all the fun, we then had a few performances in the Dewan Tertutup, which impressed many of our members. Overall the 2009 Orientation was a success as we definitely managed to leave a good and lasting impression in all our members' minds, be it new or old members.

Our next activity which will be sometime in April is our Lawatan. Thus far most of the plans have been made and I can assure everyone that it will be an eye-opening experience to all those who participate. Also we musn't forget that coming up in the mid-year holidays we'll be holding LA DANZA 2009! Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind dance competition, the hottest dancing event in JB! Feel free to approach any of the AJKs for more details. =D


Thus concludes my not-so-brief (sorry, haha it's hard to control myself when I think about all our activities. They're the best, seriously :3) recap of our last few activities. For those interested there's definitely much more to come, so just wait patiently okay?
